System requirements
To make the best use of iconomix, the system requirements listed below should be met.
Operating system
The following operating systems are supported:
- Microsoft Windows: XP, Vista, Windows 7
- Apple: Mac OS X v.10.4 or higher
Browser
We recommend using one of the following browsers:
- Firefox v.3.x or higher
- Safari v.4.x or higher
- Chrome v.5.x or higher
- Microsoft Internet Explorer v.8.x or higher
Browser settings and plugins
To use iconomix, the following settings are required:
- Adobe Flash Player v.10.0 or higher
- JavaScript activated
- Cookies activated
- Pop-ups allowed (deactivate pop-up blocker if appropriate)
- «Run ActiveX control elements and plugins» activated (Microsoft Internet Explorer only)
Screen resolution
iconomix requires the following screen resolution:
- 1024x768 pixels or higher
Network (for IT staff)
Firewall
In order to use the online applications, the ports 80 and 1935 have to be opened for all users.
Bandwidth limitation and content filtering
To avoid access problems, we recommend excluding www.iconomix.ch from bandwidth limitations and content filtering.
