The main educational concept behind the iconomix modules is based on problem-solving and action-oriented learning. Setting the students challenging and practice-oriented problems is fundamental to this method of teaching.
The action-oriented, problem-solving, and often playful introduction to the iconomix modules stimulates interest, activates previous knowledge, creates a common understanding of the situation and provides the ideal basis for continued learning.

Learning with iconomix modules (in German and French only) describes the skills framework and educational concept behind the iconomix modules. It is aimed at teachers who use iconomix in class as well as anyone else who is interested in iconomix.

iconomix workshops
In the workshops, you have the opportunity as the teacher to test iconomix in a group, get a feel for it, and discover its educational potential. iconomix workshops are offered at several recognised schools, or can be held on demand for individual schools on their own premises.
Integration into curricula
The iconomix modules fulfil a number of the requirements defined in the curricula of Swiss upper secondary schools, such as active learning and the promotion of technical, personal, social and methodological skills. It covers a whole range of learning objectives.
On the German and French websites, you will find a range of documents describing the different opportunities for each school type to integrate the iconomix modules into their respective curriculum.
